Customer Service Representative (Office Environment)

Down Right Merchandise is a four year old fast growing e-commerce and fulfillment
merchandise company. Our clientele range from well known bands to local breweries.
If you are at all interested in the music industry, garment design, and/or improving
systems for a better workflow then we are the company for you.

As a customer service representative, you will be an integral part of the Down Right
Merchandise team. Our primary consumers are passionate music industry fans from
around the globe; customer service reps are the direct line of communication between
them and our company. We take great pride in providing consumers with a “human”
experience in a world of automation and it will be your responsibility to uphold this
standard. By implementing this individualized approach, our service stands out in an
industry that typically does not put effort into consumer relations. The ideal candidate
will need to possess a positive attitude, have strong communication skills, and enjoy
talking to people daily. This is a great office based position for someone who likes
working alongside other departments to resolve issues as a team. This is a full time,
in-person position that cannot be performed remotely.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Responding to customer emails promptly (within two-business day timeline)
• Updating orders in Shopify & Shipstation (e-commerce and shipping softwares), editing orders, updating shipping addresses, processing order cancellations/refunds.
• Facilitating the accurate transfer of orders/inventory counts between systems
• Sending email updates to customers regarding manufacturing/shipment delays
• Answering office phone and checking voicemails (customers reaching out regarding order status, occasional office operational calls,
documenting all information regarding reason for call and any deliveries brought to the
loading dock)
• Informing customers of out of stock items in their respective orders
• Creating replacement orders and complimentary shipments
• Verifying shipping addresses flagged as invalid
• Processing mail and return shipments received at the office
• Collaborating with all departments to resolve customer/client issues
• Maintaining interdepartmental communication regarding repeating issues in emails,
working with all departments to resolve
• Greeting customers should they enter the office and checking mailbox
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• 2 years relevant customer service experience in an office environment
• Typing skills (~40-50 WPM)
• Computer literacy/proficiency (experience using a Macbook)
• Experience with Excel/spreadsheets
• Availability from 9 AM- 5 PM Monday through Friday
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to multitask
• A strong attention to detail
• A positive and quality-driven mindset
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Ability to push/pull/lift objects
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time

Overview: Develop client relationships in adjacent markets with a strong focus on corporate accounts. Help advise new accounts on their promotional product and corporate gift orders. Maintain client relationships and advise the Down Right marketing team with first hand customer data. Help refine customer journey as it relates to Down Right Prints and create a frictionless buying experience. Work directly with upper management and the production team to identify sales trends and build efficient workflows.
Desired Skills And Qualifications
• Knowledge of Apparel decoration and promotional item sales. (screen printing, heat transfer, pad printing, digital printing, embroidery, engraving, etc.)
• Direct Sales or entrepreneurial experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Stong Time management skills
• Can provide two references from previous employers upon request
Technical Knowledge
• Proficient with email management
• Comfortable using Google’s Office platform (Gmail, Sheets and Docs)
• Comfort using Slack for internal communication
• Comfort using Asana project management software
• Basic understanding and comfort with Mac OS

Screen Printing Operator
Full-Time: 7:30am - 4:00pm (M - F)
Screen Printing Operator
• We are looking for hard working, detail-oriented, candidate to run our automatic printing press. The candidate should have 1 - 3 years of basic screenprinting experience, either on a manual or automatic press. You must have a working knowledge of printing, screen set up. Pay rate is dependent on candidate's experience and availability.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for Role:
• Experience on manual or automatic printing press
• Ability to print multicolor designs

Screen Print Shop Help
Full-Time: 7:30am - 4:00pm (M - F)
Screen Printing Shop Associate
Print Shop Helper will work with the Press Operator and Assistant in pulling, counting and boxing orders. Prep job is to unbox and count every order before the job is started. When the order is completed, it moves to the Finishing job to get a final count and box up the order for shipping.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for Role:
The Prep/Finisher is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Doing what’s asked by the Production Manager and Press Operator.
• Read the entire Purchase Order
• Pull product and inventory it before the job goes to press.
• Help press operator in any way to help get jobs out the door.
• Check imprint quality and inform press operator of any issues.
• Try to fix any misprinted items if possible.
• Bulk pack in bundles of 12 and box unless otherwise directed by PO (Individual fold, bag and tag).
• Close out, pack and move orders to the appropriate shipping location.
• Write the names on PO of the team members: press operator, Press Assistant and the screen printing assistant (catcher at end of dryer).
